'The Innkeepers' Announced for Blu-ray

The latest horror flick from Ti West ('The House of the Devil') will be haunting Blu-ray in April.

In an early announcement to retailers, MPI has revealed 'The Innkeepers' is coming to high-definition on April 24.

During the final days at the Yankee Pedlar Inn, two employees determined to reveal the hotel's haunted past begin to experience disturbing events as old guests check in for a stay.

Specs and supplements haven't been revealed yet, but suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $34.98.

'The Human Centipede 2: Full Sequence' Announced for Blu-ray

The sequel to the independent horror film (in which you definitely don't want to be the monkey in the middle) is coming to Blu-ray on Valentine's Day!

In an early announcement to retailers, MPI Independent Films has revealed 'The Human Centipede 2: Full Sequence' is coming to Blu-ray on February 14.

The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements include: Commentary with Tom Six and Laurence R. Harvey; Interview with Tom Six; 3 Featurettes (Set Tour of Warehouse, Foley Sound Effects, and Making the Poster); and Deleted Scenes.

Suggested price for the Blu-ray is $29.98.

'Horror Express' Blu-ray Delayed

The 'Panic in the Trans-Siberian Train' skipped September and will be speeding to Blu-ray at the end of the month.

As previously reported, MPI is working on the 1972 horror film 'Horror Express' starring Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee, and Telly Savalas for Blu-ray on September 27, but now it looks to be coming November 29.

An English anthropologist has discovered a frozen monster in the frozen wastes of Manchuria which he believes may be the Missing Link. He brings the creature back to Europe aboard the Trans-Siberian Express, but during the trip the monster thaws out and starts to butcher the passengers one by one.

Specs haven't been revealed yet, but the Blu-ray/DVD combo pack will include: Introduction by Fangoria editor Chris Alexander; Murder On The Trans-Siberian Express interview with director Eugenio Martín; Notes From The Blacklist feature with producer Bernard Gordon discussing the McCarthy Era; 1973 audio interview with Peter Cushing; Telly And Me interview with composer John Cacavas; and Theatrical trailer.

Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $29.98.

The 2010 independent crime comedy has been slated for Blu-ray this October!

In an early announcement to retailers, MPI is working on 'Mr. Nice' for Blu-ray on October 11.

The film stars Rhys Ifans as elite British drug smuggler Howard Marks and is written and directed by Bernard Rose ('Immortal Beloved').

'Super' Dated for Blu-ray

Another action-packed superhero comedy will come to the rescue of Blu-ray this August.

In an early announcement to retailers, MPI has slated 'Super' for Blu-ray on August 9.

When sad-sack loser Frank (Rainn Wilson, 'The Office'), a short-order cook, sees his ex-addict wife (Liv Tyler, 'The Lord of the Rings') willingly snatched away by a seductive drug dealer (Kevin Bacon), he finds himself bereft and unable to cope. But he decides to fight back under the guise of a do-it-yourself superhero called Crimson Bolt.

With a red hand-made suit, a wrench, a crazed sidekick named Boltie (Ellen Page, 'Juno') - and absolutely nothing in the way of superpowers - Crimson Bolt beats his way through the mean streets of crime in hopes of saving his wife.

The acclaimed independent vampire flick will bite into Blu-ray this August.

In an early announcement to retailers, MPI has slated 'Stake Land' for high-definition on August 2.

Connor Paolo ("Glee") stars as Martin, a young man traveling with only his taciturn mentor - a hardened fighter known simply as Mister - as protection against this blasted earth in search of the rumoured safe haven of New Eden. Winner of the Midnight Madness Award at the Toronto International Film Festival and hailed as "the American horror film of the year" (Todd Brown, TwitchFilm.com), 'Stake Land' establishes director Jim Mickle as a leader in the new generation of horror.

The ultimate dysfunctional family can be seen in the wacky comedy hitting Blu-ray this July.

In an early announcement to retailers, MPI will be releasing 'Peep World on the high-definition format on July 19.

An all-star cast including Michael C. Hall ("Dexter"), Sarah Silverman ('School of Rock'), Rainn Wilson ("The Office"), Ben Schwartz ("Parks and Recreation"), Judy Greer ("Archer"), Kate Mara ('127 Hours') and Taraji P.
