'Across the Hall' Announced for Blu-ray

Brittany Murphy stars as a cheating fiancée in this direct-to-video thriller coming to Blu-ray next year.

Image Entertainment will bring the film 'Across the Hall' also starring Danny Pino ('Cold Case' TV series) and Mike Vogel ('Cloverfield') to the high-definition format on January 19.

The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, what appears to be a Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements will include a making-of featurette, behind-the-scenes footage, and a trailer.

Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $35.98.

'Kong: Return to the Jungle' Blu-ray Delayed

As previously reported, the direct-to-video animated film was originally scheduled to be released this week, but it has now been delayed.

Image Entertainment will now release 'Kong: Return to the Jungle' on the high-definition format on January 26.

Video specs and supplements have yet to be revealed, but the Blu-ray will come with PCM 2.0 and Dolby Digital 2.0 soundtracks.

The gangster caper-thriller is coming to Blu-ray this October.

Image Entertainment has announced 'The Crew' is coming to the high-definition format on October 20.

Longtime crime boss Ged Brennan (Scot Williams, Backbeat) has had enough of the increasingly brutal criminal underworld, but to fund a legitimate business, he's got to rely on his crew to successfully pull off one final robbery. When his boys have plans of their own and the heist goes horribly wrong, gang warfare erupts. With betrayal all around him, Ged must rely on his former adversary, ruthless tough guy Franner (Stephen Graham, Public Enemies), and use everything he's learned from more than two decades in the world of vice to survive in this pulse-pounding thriller.

The Blu-ray will feature 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 (1.85:1) video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements include an audio commentary, making-of featurette, and deleted scenes.

Image Entertainment has just given the word that 'American Violet' is coming to Blu-ray in October.

The true-life drama starring Lucinda Jenney and Charles S. Dutton will receive the high-definition treatment on October 13.
