The lights will go out on Blu-ray in September.

In an early announcement to retailers, Warner Bros. is preparing 'Revolution: The Complete First Season' for Blu-ray on September 3.

In this epic adventure thriller, a family struggles to survive in a post-apocalyptic American landscape: a world of overgrown cities, treacherous militias and heroic freedom fighters, fifteen years after every single piece of technology – computers, planes, cars, phones, even lights – had suddenly blacked out ... forever. A swashbuckling journey of hope and rebirth, 'Revolution' is seen through the eyes of a strong-willed young woman, Charlie Matheson, who has lost members of her family in the blackout's tragic aftermath, but has gained a new family and a new purpose. Together, with a rogue band of survivors – including her secretive mother Rachel and formerly estranged uncle Miles, an ex-marine and militia leader – she sets out to overthrow the dangerous Monroe Militia (led by the volatile Sebastian Monroe), restore the power - and balance of power - and ultimately re-establish the United States of America.

Created by Eric Kripke ('Supernatural'), and executive produced by J.J. Abrams ('Lost,' 'Star Trek,' 'Alias'), Bryan Burk ('Star Trek,' 'Fringe,' 'Lost') and Kripke, 'Revolution' stars Billy Burke ('The Twilight Saga'), Tracy Spiridakos ('Being Human'), Giancarlo Esposito ('Breaking Bad'), Zak Orth ('Nurse Jackie'), David Lyons ('ER'), Daniella Alonso ('Friday Night Lights'), Graham Rogers ('Memphis Beat'), JD Pardo ('The Twlight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2'), Tim Guinee ('Iron Man 2'), and Elizabeth Mitchell ('Lost'). 'Revolution' is produced by Bonanza Productions in association with Bad Robot Productions, Kripke Enterprises and Warner Bros. Television.

The Blu-ray/DVD/UltraViolet combo pack will feature 1080p video, DTS-HD MA 5.1 soundtracks, and supplements will include: An In-depth Look at the 'Revolution' Pilot – Featurette; Creating a Revolution - Featurette; Deleted Scenes; NBC.com Webisodes; Gag Reel; and Revolution Cast & Creative Team at the 2013 Paley Festival.

But Dean plans to confront Eric about dodging the draft after the boys and their respective girlfriends, Bailey (Diora Baird) and Chrissie (Jordana Brewster), head across Texas for a final fling of serious fun. Soon after their journey begins, the foursome are spooked by a menacing pair of bikers, who causes a car accident and then attempts to rob the injured trio. However, Sheriff Hoyt (R. Lee Ermey) arrives and turns the tables on their would-be assassin, before ordering Dean, Eric and Bailey into the back of the patrol car.

Unbeknownst to Chrissie, who watches everything happen from hiding, Hoyt is headed to the Hewitt family home where a man named Thomas (Andrew Bryniarski) is being groomed to become the terrifying monster known as Leatherface, and the rest of the Hewitt clan await. Chrissie attempts to convince Holden to help her, but he is on a one man rampage to avenge his girlfriend's death. As Chrissie witnesses the horrors inflicted by the Hewitt family upon the people she loves, she realizes she is their only hope of survival.
