'My Soul To Take' Blu-ray Detailed

The latest Blu-ray from horror maestro Wes Craven has been fully detailed.

As previously reported, Universal Studios has revealed 'My Soul To Take' for a home video release on February 8.

On the day the Riverton Ripper vanished without a trace, seven children were born. Today, they’re all turning 16... and turning up dead. Legendary director Wes Craven (A Nightmare on Elm Street, Scream) keeps your heart racing with a suspense-thriller filled with twists, turns and a dark secret that will send your soul searching for cover.

The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements include: Commentary with director Wes Craven and cast members, Max Thieriot, John Magaro and Emily Meade; deleted and extended scenes; and an alternate opening and two alternate endings.

Suggested list price is $39.98.

Another HD DVD exclusive looks to bescaring up Blu just in time for Halloween!

According to a recent listing on Columbia House, Universal Studios is preparing Peter Jackson's 'The Frighteners' for Blu-ray on October 26.

The film stars Michael J. Fox, Chi McBride, and Jeffrey Combs and the release will be the Director's Cut.

It is unclear whether the the release will be widely available or will be exclusive to Columbia House.

Specs, supplements, and suggested list price for the Blu-ray are still undetermined at this time.

The acclaimed comedy/drama that made quite the buzz at Sundance will make Blu-ray all right this November.

In an early announcement to retailers, Universal Studios is preparing Lisa Cholodenko's 'The Kids Are All Right' for Blu-ray on November 16.

The film stars Annette Bening, Julianne Moore, Mark Ruffalo, Mia Wasikowska, and Josh Hutcherson, and currently holds a 96% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements will include: Feature commentary with director/co-writer Lisa Cholodenko; The Journey to Forming a Family: cirector/co-writer Lisa Cholodenko reveals how her five-year long journey to write and bring the film to the screen was motivated by her desire to put down roots and create a family of her own; The Making of The Kids Are All Right; The Writers' Process: Lisa Cholodenko & Stuart Blumberg discuss their writing process; BD-Live; pocket BLU; My Scenes; and uHEAR™: Never miss another line of dialogue when you're watching The Kids Are All Right with this innovative feature that instantly skips back a few seconds on your Blu-ray disc and turns on the subtitles to highlight what you missed.

Charlie will bite Blu-ray's finger this November!

Universal says the romantic fantasy 'Charlie St. Cloud' will hit Blu-ray on November 9.

The film stars Zac Efron, Ray Liotta, and Kim Basinger and reeled in approximately $31 million domestically at the box office a few months ago.

The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements include: Deleted Scenes; On Location with Zac Efron: Come along for a ride in Vancouver, with Zac Efron as he takes on his first major dramatic leading role in Charlie St. Cloud. Audiences will get some quality one-on-one time with the real Zac as he prepares for a role like no other that he has done before; Zac Efron - Leading Man: In this intimate conversation with Burr Steers we will find out what Burr's vision for the film was and how Zac helped mold that vision. We will be privy to the conversations that Burr and Zac had about how Zac should assume the mantle of leading man and how that differed from what he had done before; The In-Between World: Ever since man became self-aware, he's wondered what happens when you die. In this piece, we will talk to those who claim to have a connection with the great beyond. 'Repo Men' Dated & Detailed for Blu-ray

The futuristic sci-fi thriller where human organ possession is 9/10 of the Jude Law is hitting Blu-ray this July.

Universal has announced 'Repo Men' also starring Forest Whitaker and Alice Braga for Blu-ray in both its theatrical (113 minutes) and Unrated Director's Cut (120 minutes) versions on July 20.

The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements include: Feature commentary with director Miguel Sapochnik and writers Eric Garcia and Garrett Lerner, deleted scenes with optional commentary with Sapochnik, Garcia and Lerner, Union commercials: see the unique Union commercials used in the film in their entirety, and Inside the visual effects: get an "insider's" look at the unique visual effects used in the film.

Exclusive to the Blu-ray will be U-Control, My Scenes, pocket BLU, Social BLU, and BD-Live connectivity.

'Psycho: 50th Anniversary Edition' Blu-ray Announced and Detailed

Alfred Hitchcock's horror masterpiece is being "meticulously restored" for high-definition just in time for Halloween!

Universal Studios has just officially announced Psycho: 50th Anniversary Edition' starring Anthony Perkins and Janet Leigh for Blu-ray on October 19.

For this unprecedented anniversary, the classic film will also be honored at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival.

The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack (as well as the original mono), and supplements will include:

- Feature-length audio commentary with Stephen Rebello (Author of Alfred Hitchcock and the making of Psycho).

- The Making of Psycho: A feature-length documentary on Hitchcock's most shocking film.

'Battlestar Galactica: The Complete Series' Blu-ray Reissue Box Art Revealed

More details are in on the previously reported BSG reissue coming in April.

Universal has announced 'Battlestar Galactica: The Complete Series (Reissue)' for a Blu-ray release on April 6.

The Blu-ray box set will include all twenty discs from the previously released 'Battlestar Galactica: The Complete Series' as well as 'Battlestar Galactica: The Plan' in slimmer digipacks housed inside a cardboard slipcase.

Unfortunately, the release still will not include the Face of the Enemy webisodes or a booklet listing episodes and descriptions. Apparently the webisodes are too costly due to contact and rights issues, but there really is no excuse for reissuing this product and still not including something as simple as a booklet.

Universal is also offering U.S. buyers of the first set the chance to receive the new packaging by mail, but the studio needs to be contacted directly through their online contact form and they will provide instructions.

As previously reported, the film based on the series of books by Darren Shan will hit Blu-ray in February, and now the release has been fully detailed.

Universal has revealed 'Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant' starring John C. Reilly, Chris Massoglia, and Salma Hayek will be coming to Blu-ray on February 23.

The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements will include: Guide to Becoming a Vampire: a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of 'Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant', including casting, filming the movie's biggest scenes and making the Cirque and its freaks come to life; Tour du Freak: A behind-the-scenes look at the movie sets of the Cirque; deleted scenes; U-Control Picture-in-Picture; Pocket Blu; My Scenes; and BD-Live.

The second season of the smash hit sci-fi reboot is coming in April.

Universal is readying 'Battlestar Galactica: Season 2' for a standalone Blu-ray release on April 6.

The 5-disc Blu-ray set includes all twenty episodes with 1080p video and a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack.

Supplement details appear to mirror the content found in the 'Battlestar Galactica: The Complete Series' box set which includes: deleted scenes, episode commentaries, and more!
