'The Frighteners' on Blu-ray

Another HD DVD exclusive looks to bescaring up Blu just in time for Halloween!

According to a recent listing on Columbia House, Universal Studios is preparing Peter Jackson's 'The Frighteners' for Blu-ray on October 26.

The film stars Michael J. Fox, Chi McBride, and Jeffrey Combs and the release will be the Director's Cut.

It is unclear whether the the release will be widely available or will be exclusive to Columbia House.

Specs, supplements, and suggested list price for the Blu-ray are still undetermined at this time.
