'God of War: Ascension' Teaser Trailer Revealed
Thu Apr 19, 2012 at 11:30 AM ETTags: God of War, God of War: Ascension, PlayStation 3 (all tags)
You won't see any gameplay or, well, much of anything. Still, teaser trailer!
You'd have to be crazy to assume a new 'God of War' game wasn't in the works. It's a giant money maker for Sony, and Sony likes money. Who doesn't?
'God of War: Ascension' hasn't been officially announced yet but we've already gotten some box art and a teaser trailer for the game thanks to a few leaks. We're still around two months away from E3 and already games are getting teased and revealed – pretty cool stuff.

Sony Rumored to be Working on a 'Smash Bros.' Style Fighter with Sony Game Stars
Tue Nov 29, 2011 at 11:30 AM ETTags: Sony, PlayStation 3, SuperBot Entertainment, Sweet Tooth, Twisted Metal, Kratos, God of War, Rumors and Speculation (all tags)
Characters that may have been inadvertently revealed so far are Sweet Tooth, Kratos and a naked, featureless lady.
Nintendo has had a great deal of success with the 'Smash Bros.' series of games. They're equal parts fun fighting game and trip straight past memory lane and right onto the nostalgia superhighway. If you played Nintendo games as a kid, there's plenty there that will spark up those feelings that make you get the NES out of the closet.
If rumors and speculation hold true, and they do more often than you might think, Sony is going to be working on a similar game of their own. Twitter pictures posted and then removed by Chris Molina of SuperBot Entertainment sure make it look like that's the case.
And just who is SuperBot Entertainment? From the company overview, they are "an exclusive developer of Sony Computer Entertainment America and are currently in production of a yet-to-be announced PS3 title."
We're calling this rumor pretty damn plausible.
