Elizabeth Taylor Dead at 79

The silver screen legend and two-time Academy Award winner has passed away.

Elizabeth Taylor died on Wednesday morning at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles with her friends and four children by her side.

Throughout her career, the flamboyant temptress received five Oscar nominations for Best Actress -- winning two ('Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?' and 'Butterfield 8').

The cause of Taylor's death was complications from congestive heart failure. She was 79.

Leslie Nielsen Dead at 84

The renowned funnyman best known for starring in 'The Naked Gun' series has passed away.

The Canadian actor also known for 'Airplane!,' 'Forbidden Planet,' and a memorable dark role in 'Creepshow' has died this past Sunday in his sleep with his friends and his wife Barbaree by his side.

Nielsen was nominated for two Emmys, two Gemini Awards, and won the ACTRA Award of Excellence in 2003.

Battling a staph infection, Nielsen eventually succumbed due to complications from pneumonia. He was 84.

Actor Corey Haim Dead at 38

The 80s teenage heartthrob best known for his roles 'The Lost Boys,' 'Lucas,' and 'License to Drive' has died.

News is pouring in from Los Angeles that the troubled actor was found dead around 3:00 AM this morning of an apparent accidental drug overdose.

No other details have been mentioned at this time. He was 38.

Actress Brittany Murphy Dead at 32

The actress best known for her roles in 'Clueless,' '8 Mile,' and 'Sin City' has died unexpectedly.

Sources say Murphy collapsed in her bathroom on Sunday morning and was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles where she passed away.

Although police are still investigating to determine an official cause of death, Chief Coroner Ed Winter said that it "appears to be natural." An autopsy will be performed today or tomorrow.

Murphy was married to British screenwriter Simon Monjack and lived in the Hollywood Hills. She was 32.

Farrah Fawcett Dead at 62

After a long fight with cancer, Farrah Fawcett has passed away.

The five-time Golden Globe-nominated actress is best known for her brief stint on the original 'Charlie's Angels' and her famous pin-up poster that sold millions of copies.

The actress passed away Thursday morning at St. John's Hospital in Santa Monica, California with partner Ryan O'Neal and best friend Alana Stewart by her bedside. She was 62.

David Carradine Dead at 72

The legendary action star has passed away.

Best known for his role on 'Kung Fu' and more recently as Bill in Quentin Tarantino's 'Kill Bill' saga, David Carradine has died.

The actor was found dead in his hotel room in Bangkok while he was shooting a film in the country. He was 72.

Michael Turner from the U.S. Embassy has confirmed the death occurred either late Wednesday or early Thursday, but no other details have been revealed out of consideration for his family.
