Yamaha Introduces RX-A 60 Series AVENTAGE AV Receivers with Dolby Atmos & DTS:X, Prices Start at $650

The AVENTAGE RX-A 60 Series network AV receiver lineup includes the RX-A660, RX-A760, RX-A860, RX-A1060, RX-A2060, and RX-A3060. "The AVENTAGE RX-A 60 Series AV receivers put the home theater enthusiast in the center of the action as never before. It provides the absolute cutting-edge in advanced audio technologies, truly lifelike musicality and the best wireless multiroom audio solution in the industry," said Bob Goedken, general manager, AV division, Yamaha Corporation of America. "This new line of premium AV receivers provides the ease and accessibility for control of multi-zone audio installations that custom integrators will applaud." Yamaha's AVENTAGE RX-A 60 Series receivers feature DSP processors with out of the box support for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X immersive audio formats, along with HDCP 2.2 copy protection for 4K Ultra HD video passthrough with HDR and BT.2020. Likewise, the lineup also includes MusicCast wireless multiroom audio technology with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. In addition, the receivers support high-resolution audio music playback, including ALAC at 96 kHz / 24 bit, WAV, AIFF, FLAC up to 192 kHz / 24 bit, and DSD to 5.6 MHz. Blindspot tells the story of a beautiful woman (Jaimie Alexander, Thor: The Dark World, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), who is found naked in Times Square, with her body completely covered in cryptic, intricate tattoos. With no memories of her past, and clueless about her own identity this Jane Doe ignites the attention of the FBI, when it's discovered that one of her mysterious tattoos bears the name of FBI agent Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton, Strike Back, 300: Rise of an Empire). As Weller and his teammates at the FBI begin to investigate the mysterious map of Jane Doe's strange tattoos, they are drawn into a high-stakes underworld that twists and turns through a labyrinth of secrets and revelations. Blake Edwards' 'Victor Victoria' Slated for Blu-ray

[teaser]The 1982 musical starring Julie Andrews, Robert Preston, and James Garner arrives on Blu-ray next month. [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, Warner Archive has revealed that 'Victor Victoria' will hit Blu-ray on June 14. A man impersonating a woman on stage? Piece of cake. But a woman whose livelihood depends on pretending to be a man who pretends to be a woman? Now you've got problems! You've also got laughs when Julie Andrews plays Victor and Victoria in this clever delight from filmmaker Blake Edwards boasting a marvelous Academy Award-winning score by Henry Mancini and Leslie Bricusse. Robert Preston plays a cabaret performer who devises the gender-bender stage act. Farcically complicating matters are James Garner as a mobster suspecting Victor is a Victoria and Lesley Ann Warren as a short-fused floozy. Of this movie's seven Oscar nominations, three went to Golden Globe winner Andrews (Actress), National Board of Review Award winner Preston (Supporting Actor) and Warren (Supporting Actress). [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, Starz/Anchor Bay says 'Power: The Complete Second Season' will arrive on Blu-ray on June 14. From Executive Producer Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson and show creator Courtney Kemp Agboh (The Good Wife) comes Season 2 of Power, a drama straddling the glamorous Manhattan lifestyles of the rich and infamous and the underworld of international drug trade. Season 2 picks up where it left off: James "Ghost" St. Patrick doubling down on his drug business to save his nightclub and dream of a legitimate future. Ghost's work troubles pale in comparison to juggling his relationship with his wife, Tasha, and his first love Angela, who's also an AUSA investigating his drug organization.
