Happy MLK Day: A Brief Note About Blog Scheduling

Aside from those of you who live in Arizona, many of our American readers should be enjoying a holiday today in remembrance of Martin Luther King, Jr. I considered closing down the blog for the day as well, but had some content ready to go and ultimately decided that I might as well run it. However, I’d like to use this opportunity to make some quick announcements about blog scheduling over the next couple of weeks.

As I’ve mentioned in other recent posts, I’m currently in the process of moving. In fact, the big move happens this week. At the same time, I’m also still remodeling my basement. While I’ve prepared a few posts of my own for this week, and will publish other writers’ content as it comes in, I will likely be tied up with other things and may not be able to write much over the next couple of weeks. I’ll try to maintain our regular posting schedule as much as I’m able, and will see to it that something gets published every day, but some days may be lighter than others.

This also applies to my Blu-ray reviews. Those of you who’ve been waiting for me to finish off my ‘Bond 50’ reviews will need to hang tight. My home theater is currently in disarray and I’m not able to watch movies on my projection screen. However, I fully intend to follow through with the remaining James Bond reviews as soon as my new home theater is operational. More to come.

In the middle of all this, Aaron is off attending the Sundance Film Festival. He’ll contribute some posts on notable movies and events there, but a lot of his time will be taken up actually watching those movies and attending the events.

Thanks for bearing with us. We’ll do our best to get things back to normal as soon as possible.

Thanks for the update! Congrats again on the new home and the remodeling.
