Hot on the heels of our appearances at Blu-Con at the beginning of this month, Mike Palmer here at High-Def Digest and I found ourselves on the move again. This time, we were both invited to visit Dolby headquarters in San Francisco for a conference that the company called the “Fidelity Forum.” Mike is planning to write up some detailed coverage of the event that will run on the site’s main page. In the meantime, I’ll just offer a brief summary of the day and hit the highlights.
Wow! I’m left a little speechless. We received over 500 entries for our contest to win a copy of the ‘Alien Anthology‘ box set on Blu-ray. That’s fantastic, but also a lot of work for me to sift through. Nonetheless, I’ve read through all the responses and have picked my favorites. Read on to find out who won.

By the time this post is published, I should be on a plane back home from Los Angeles, where I attended the Blu-Con conference on Tuesday. No, not just attended. I spoke at the conference. On a stage. In front of people. With cameras pointed at me… Gulp.
