'Office Space' Headed to Blu-ray[teaser]Fox is bringing the cult comedy 'Office Space' to Blu-ray this February with a host of extras and exclusive content.[/teaser] Not a box office hit upon its initial theatrical release, the Mike Judge corporate satire has since amassed a rabid fanbase on home video. Fox has alerted retailers to a February 3 Blu-ray street date. (The studio previously issued a special edition DVD in 2006.) Extras include the "Out of the Office: An Office Space Retrospective with Mike Judge" featurette, six deleted scenes and the theatrical trailer Exclusive to the Blu-ray release is a "Jump to Conclusions 2.0" function and "The Apathy of Man" history fact track. Tech specs will feature a BD-50 dual-layer presentation with 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video, English DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround, and optional French and Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround dubs and subtitles. 'Stomp' Coming to Blu-ray this January[teaser]The acclaimed music and dance troupe Stomp is coming to Blu-ray this January with the debut of their first-ever next-gen live release. [/teaser] Having entertained over 15 million people across 42 countries, the ensemble is considered one of the most successful stage shows of all time. Victory Multimedia Goes Blu with 'Corporate Ladder'[teaser]Next-gen newcomer Victory Multimedia has announced their debut Blu-ray release, setting a mid-January date for the indie 'Climbing Your Way Down the Corporate Ladder.'[/teaser] Starring 'The Sopranos' Tony Sirico, the business comedy will kick off the indie distributor's next-gen support on January 13, when it debuts the Blu-ray day-and-date with the standard DVD. Fox Has 'Seven Year Itch' for Blu-ray[teaser]Marking the first appearance of Marilyn Monroe on high-def, Fox has announced a mid-April Blu-ray release for 'The Seven Year Itch.'[/teaser] In what fans hope will be only the first of many more Monroe comedies to arrive on Blu-ray, Fox has alerted retailers to an April 14 street date for the 1955 classic. Of Wanted Lists and Foreign Imports[teaser]Our own Ken Brown has been keeping busy with a series of articles on the state of Blu-ray. He's just posted a couple of stories relating to issues all too familiar to home theater enthusiasts: Wanted Lists and Import Titles. Weinstein Planning January Blu-ray Release for 'Superhero Movie'[teaser]The Weinstein Co. has alerted retailers to an early-January Blu-ray bow for the spoof 'Superhero Movie.'[/teaser] Starring Pamela Anderson and Craig Bierko, 'Superhero Movie' failed to make much of a dent at the box office during its brief theatrical run earlier this year. The Weinstein Co. will give the comedy a second shot when it releases the Blu-ray January 6, day-and-date with the standard DVD.
