After months of anticipation, speculation and mastication (What, you didn’t eat in the last few months?), the Apple TV has finally been unveiled. If there’s one thing you can say for Apple’s reveal, it’s that the new Apple TV is better than the old Apple TV. Then again, that’s not saying much at all.
Yikes! There’s a lot leaving Netflix this week. Most of it, thankfully, is pretty bad. No one’s going to miss ‘Transmorphers,’ ‘Zombie Death House,’ or ’3 Ninjas Kick Back,’ but there’s some classic stuff in there that you absolutely need to see while you’ve got the chance.
It’s a sad fact of life that movies just don’t stay on Netflix Instant Watch forever. Most of the movies that get shuffled off of the list aren’t breaking any hearts by doing so, but there’s some genuinely good stuff too.
Since the initial announcement, I’ve been pretty excited about Hulu Plus. However, only a few weeks in, I’ve already cancelled my subscription. Why? It just doesn’t do what it needs to. In fact, it’s still a hell of a lot more convenient to just download the episodes through bit torrent than to watch them on Hulu Plus. That’s a problem.

This started out simply enough, with an increase in the amount of touchscreen phones hitting the market. But the new range of motion control products takes it too far.
This November, the redheaded stepchild of late night comedy comes back on the air. It’s going to be a big event, but in order to succeed, Conan needs to keep his audience in mind. He’s not the only one making a big move this year. Hulu is starting to charge for service and they need something big to draw people in. The way I see it, Hulu and Conan need each other badly.
Hulu Plus was officially announced yesterday, and I have to admit that I’m a fan. Shelling out another $9.99 a month is a bummer, but once the service hits a device I own, I’ll be more than happy to do it.
