'American Mary' Announced and Detailed for Blu-ray[teaser]The second film from directors Jen and Sylvia Soska will slice into Blu-ray this summer. [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, XLrator Media is working on 'American Mary' for Blu-ray on June 18. Twisted Twins Jen and Sylvia Soska are back with their stunning follow-up to the indie hit 'Dead Hooker in a Trunk.' 'American Mary' is the story of a medical student named Mary who is growing increasingly broke and disenchanted with medical school and the established doctors she once idolized. The allure of easy money sends a desperate Mary through the messy world of underground surgeries which leaves more marks on her than the so-called freakish clientele. Appearances are everything. Cheetos' 'Cheetahpult' Game Now Available Online[Teaser]An extremely addictive game is now available on YouTube from the cool cats at Cheetos![/Teaser] Launch Cheetos Mix-Ups into a YouTube video with the world's first smartphone Cheetahpult! The interactive video game uses Flash technology allowing players to sync their mobile device (or use a mouse) to hurl Cheetos Mix-ups, a grab bag of four flavorful shapes - Salsa Picante, Chipotle Cheddar, Jalapeño Cheddar and Cheddar - across several different "Cheetlefields." 'Liar Liar' Blu-ray Announced[teaser]The 1997 Jim Carrey comedy is planned for Blu-ray this summer. [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, Universal is preparing to release 'Liar Liar' on Blu-ray on July 9. A habitually dishonest, silver-tongued lawyer named Fletcher Reede (Carrey) is more concerned with his career and clients than his young son, Max (Justin Cooper). But when the boy uses his fifth birthday wish to make his dad more truthful, Fletcher is in for quite a few surprises, none of which are welcome and all of which seem to come at the most inconvenient time possible. Yamaha Adding Three More AVENTAGE Models[teaser]Two new 9.2 channel receivers and one 7.2 channel receiver top the line.[/teaser] Yamaha's line of AVENTAGE networked AV receivers just received three new models, and the company is high on the quality of the line. Introduced in 2010, Yamaha has pushed the AVENTAGE models as a combination of studio quality parts with obsessive finish and a mass of techie features. Currently, Yamaha is touting the line's ESS DACs, the SABRE32 ES9016 and SABRE ES9006. Their essential function is often overlooked by other tech-heavy receiver offerings. From Bob Goedken, general manager of Yamaha's AV Division, "Album after album, film after film, AV professionals say how much they appreciate the clean, detailed and powerful sound, and the highly convincing sense of ‘being there' that embody our AVENTAGE receivers. The new 7.2 RX-A1030 is priced at $1200 and offers 120 Watts per channel. The 9.2 RX-A2030 is priced at $1700 and offers 155 Watts per channel.
