Eric Rohmer's 'The Marquise of O' & 'Full Moon in Paris' Dated for Blu-ray[teaser]Two dramas from the French director will arrive on Blu-ray in October. [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, Film Movement is preparing 'The Marquise of O' & 'Full Moon in Paris' for Blu-ray on October 6. 'The Marquise of O' - Winner of the Special Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival in 1976 and directed by Eric Rohmer, the film is set in 1799 during the Russian invasion of Italy. A young widow, The Marquise (Edith Clever) lives with her parents in the fort her father commands. In the midst of battle, the Marquise is abducted by a group of rowdy soldiers and nearly taken advantage of when the Russian commander Count F (Bruno Ganz) rescues her. Later, the Marquise realizes she is pregnant, though she cannot decipher how the circumstance came to be. The Marquise pens a letter to the newspaper announcing that she will marry the father, whomever he may be, should he only present himself. 'Full Moon in Paris' - Louise (Pascale Ogier) is a young interior designer bored with her life in the sleepy suburbs with her live-in boyfriend. So she moves back into her Paris apartment during the week, balancing the boyfriend, a best friend and a bad boy musician who catches her eye at a party. Eventually even the sophisticated and aloof Louise cannot untangle herself from the emotional realities of her various romantic encounters. Decades after first impressing critics and audiences alike, 'Full Moon in Paris' remains a modern, wry observation of youth and love. Specs and supplements have not been detailed yet. Samsung Launches JS7000 4K SUHD TVs with HDR Support, Prices Start at $1,300[teaser]Three more SUHD TVs have been released. [/teaser] Samsung has announced its latest series of SUHD 4K displays. The JS7000 series is available in 50-inch, 55-inch, and 60-inch screen sizes. "The JS7000 SUHD TV will allow more people than ever before to enjoy breathtaking picture quality from Samsung's best TV ever," said Bill Lee, Vice President of TV Product Marketing at Samsung Electronics America. "In addition to featuring breakthrough display technology, this 4K ultra high definition television features a new Quad-Core Smart TV platform that allows consumers to access and play their favorite content seamlessly from almost any device." All three TVs use flat-screen LCD LED panels with a resolution of 3840x2160. Likewise, the SUHD displays feature nano-crystal technology to support High Dynamic Range content and expanded colors. In addition, the sets are powered by Quad-Core Processors running the Tizen smart TV platform. The JS7000 series now joins the previously released JS8500, JS9000, JS9100, and JS9500 SUHD TVs. Integra Unveils New Dolby Atmos & DTS:X Receivers, Prices Start at $800[teaser]Several receivers with next-gen audio support have been revealed. [/teaser] Integra has detailed the latest additions to its home theater lineup. The DTR-40.7 ($1,400), DTR-30.7 ($1,100), and DTR-20.7 ($800) all include immersive object-based audio capabilities. All three receivers are 7.2 channel models with 4K HDR video support and HDCP 2.2 compliancy. The premium DTR-40.7 is Dolby Atmos-enabled and DTS:X ready (via a future firmware upgrade) and boasts 175 watts per channel at 6 Ohms, 110 Watts per channel at 8 Ohms, and a premium 384 kHz / 32-bit hi-grade AKM 4458 DAC. Meanwhile, the DTR-30.7 is also Dolby Atmos-enabled and DTS:X ready, and offers 100 Watts per channel at 8 Ohms and 170 Watts at 6 Ohms. Finally, the Dolby Atmos-enabled DTR-20.7 offers 65 Watts per Channel at 8 Ohms and 115 Watts at 6 Ohms. An exact release date for the receivers has not been announced. HBO Now Arrives on Android Devices and Amazon Fire Tablets[teaser]HBO's standalone streaming service is now available on more platforms. The premium streaming service initially launched exclusively on Apple devices.
