Amazon Preps 'Just Add Magic' Season Two for January 13 Premiere[teaser]The kids series will return for a second season next month.[/teaser] Amazon has announced a release date for 'Just Add Magic' season two. New episodes of the original kids show will start streaming on Prime Video in the US and UK on January 13. "Kids and families have embraced Kelly, Darbie and Hannah and we're excited to debut another season next month," said Tara Sorensen, Head of Kids Programming at Amazon Studios. "There's more suspense and magic in the new season as the girls' mastery of magic will be called upon to protect their bond. The first season led our customers to extend beyond the show with family cooking time and hope the new season will continue that tradition." Set in the year 2029 and following World Wars III and IV, a Japanese-led Asian block dominates world affairs. The alliance maintains its international supremacy through its elite security force whose cybernetically enhanced operatives tackle an array of hi-tech terrorists and other threats to international security. These augmented agents can "ghost hack" (i.e., download their consciousness) via the now omnipresent internet into other machines and human/machine cross breeds. Major Motoko Kusanagi, a cybernetically augmented female agent, has been tracking a virtual entity known as the Puppet Master with her crack squad of security agents. The shape-shifting Puppet Master, a rogue creation of a rival agency of the security apparatus, has concluded that it is a life form in its own right, "born in sea of information," and requested political asylum and true physical existence in defiance of its creators. Hulu Releases Trailer for 'The Path' Season 2, Streaming Premiere Set for January 25[teaser]The streaming series starring Aaron Paul will return for a second season in January.[/teaser] Hulu has revealed a trailer for 'The Path' season two. The show's first season previously concluded on May 25. 'The Path' follows a family at the center of a controversial cult movement as they struggle with relationships, faith and power. Each episode takes an in-depth look at the gravitational pull of belief and what it means to choose between the life we live and the life we want. The series blends elements of mystery-thriller, romance and the supernatural. The show was created by Jessica Goldberg who also serves as a writer and executive-producer, along with Jason Katims and Michelle Lee of True Jack Productions. Series stars include Aaron Paul, Michelle Monaghan, and Hugh Dancy. All ten episodes of 'The Path' season one are now available to stream through Hulu.
