Season four initially debuted on Netflix back in 2013, and featured episodes primarily dedicated to one member of the cast at a time. The idea was for a larger storyline to gradually emerge from the different perspectives as the season played out. This new version, titled Arrested Development Season 4 Remix: Fateful Consequences, has now been recut from 15 individualized stories into 22 interwoven episodes with all of the Bluths in each installment as the plot plays out in chronological order, potentially offering a fresh perspective and new jokes. Before its revival on Netflix, Arrested Development originally aired for three seasons on Fox. Beyond the Season Four Remix and upcoming fifth season, all four previous seasons of the show are now available to stream through Netflix as well. A current Netflix subscription starts at $11 for HD streaming and $14 for Ultra HD streaming. Source: Netflix (YouTube)Posted Mon May 7, 2018 at 09:30 AM PDT by: -

Coming Soon to Streaming: 'Castle Rock,' '13 Reasons Why,' and More[teaser]Check out the latest crop of trailers for upcoming streaming shows and movies. [/teaser] Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu have released new previews for several of their upcoming programs and films. In addition, Criterion has detailed its May lineup of titles set to hit the Criterion Channel on the FilmStruck streaming service. Here's a full rundown of titles scheduled to arrive on each service: Dear White People - Vol. 2 (Netflix, Now Streaming) - Set against the backdrop of a predominantly white Ivy League university where racial tensions bubble just below the surface, Dear White People is an hilarious send-up of “post-racial” America that weaves together the universal story of finding one’s own identity and forging a wholly unique path. The satirical series -- which picks up where the acclaimed 2014 film by the same name left off – follows a group of Winchester University’s students of color as they navigate a diverse landscape of social injustice, cultural bias, political correctness (or lack thereof) and sometimes misguided activism in the millennial age. Through an absurdist lens, Dear White People utilizes biting irony, self-deprecation and sometimes brutal honesty to hold up a mirror to the issues plaguing society today, all the while leading with laughter. Hari Kondabolu: Warn Your Relatives (Netflix, May 8) - Comedian and actor Hari Kondabolu cleverly blends personal and political humor in his debut Netflix Original stand-up comedy special, Hari Kondabolu: Warn Your Relatives. Filmed in front of a packed audience at The Neptune in Seattle, WA, Hari is able to magically turn discomfort into laughter when he compares terrorism and mass shootings, explains why firefighters are better than cops, and recalls the time he got heckled by Tracy Morgan. The Kissing Booth - (Netflix, May 11) - When Elle Evans (Joey King), a pretty, late-bloomer who’s never-been-kissed, decides to run a kissing booth at her high school’s Spring Carnival, she unexpectedly finds herself locking lips with her secret crush– the ultimate bad boy, Noah Flynn (Jacob Elordi). Sparks fly, but there’s one little problem: Noah just happens to be the brother of her best friend, Lee, (Joel Courtney) and is absolutely off limits according to the rules of their friendship pact. Elle’s life is turned upside down when she realizes that she must ultimately make a choice: follow the rules or follow her heart. Evil Genius (Netflix, May 11) - In 2003 in Erie, Pennsylvania, a robbery gone wrong and a terrifying public murder capture the nation’s attention, and a bizarre collection of Midwestern hoarders, outcasts, and lawbreakers play cat-and-mouse with the FBI. Eventually, a middle-aged mastermind named Marjorie Diehl-Armstrong — once a town beauty, now a woman grappling with mental illness — is arrested. But 15 years later, Evil Genius proves there’s more to the conspiracy and murders than was ever thought. 13 Reasons Why: Season 2 (Netflix, May 18) - Season 2 picks up in the aftermath of Hannah's death and the start of our characters' complicated journeys toward healing and recovery. Liberty High prepares to go on trial, but someone will stop at nothing to keep the truth surrounding Hannah's death concealed. A series of ominous polaroids lead Clay and his classmates to uncover a sickening secret and a conspiracy to cover it up. Ibiza (Netflix, May 25) - When Harper’s two best friends tag along on her work trip to Barcelona, they ditch work and fly to Ibiza for Harper, who against her better judgement, falls for a hot DJ. Starring Gillian Jacobs, Vanessa Bayer, and Phoebe Robinson. Directed by Alex Richanbach. The Break with Michelle Wolf (Netflix, May 27) - People make mistakes. The Break with Michelle Wolf, a weekly half-hour variety/sketch series, will have jokes, sketches, celebrities, and more. Streaming every Sunday beginning May 27. Castle Rock (Hulu, July 25) - A psychological-horror series set in the Stephen King multiverse, Castle Rock combines the mythological scale and intimate character storytelling of King’s best-loved works, weaving an epic saga of darkness and light, played out on a few square miles of Maine woodland. Goliath: Season 2 (Amazon Prime Video, June 15) - Billy McBride returns to defend a 16-year-old boy accused of a grisly double homicide. Billy, Patty and team fervently build their case in the seedy underworld of LA, squaring off with a dirty cop, a ruthless drug lord and a prosecutor to prove the boy’s innocence. As the true culprits come to light, the implications reach as far as the mayoral race and the city’s preeminent billionaire developer. MoviePass Brings Back Movie-Per-Day Plan... For Now[teaser]New users can now sign up for the movie-per-day plan again.[/teaser] After temporarily pulling the deal last month, MoviePass is once again offering its flagship movie-per-day plan for $9.95 per month -- but it's not exactly clear how long the option will remain available. The service allows users to receive one ticket for a 2D theatrical film every day with no contract or blackout dates at supported theaters. The movie-per-day option was previously removed in favor of a special promotional plan that only provided four monthly movie tickets along with an iHeartRadio All-Access subscription for around $10 per month. As of press time, the site now offers two monthly plans: the $9.95 movie-per-day MoviePass Unlimited subscription, and a $7.95 Limited Time offer for three movies per month along with an extended free 3-month trial of iHeartRadio All-Access. According to The Hollywood Reporter, this multiple plan approach is likely going to be expanded in the future with even more subscription options, including a version that allows users to see films in 3D and premium formats like IMAX. With that said, the longevity of the movie-per-day deal remains in question as the site recently updated its terms-of-use to include "the right to change from time to time the number of eligible movies a member can see per month." Likewise, the site also recently altered its rules to prohibit users from seeing the same movie twice. This was apparently done to help prevent customers from reselling tickets for popular films. After signing up for the MoviePass Unlimited plan, users are sent a special MoviePass debit card. Customers can then select a theater and movie showtime from the MoviePass app. Once a user's smartphone GPS registers within 100 yards of the selected theater, subscribers can then check-in for the film they want to see. Credit is then transferred to the MoviePass debit card which can then be used to buy the ticket. Over 91% of theaters in the US currently work with MoviePass, but some chains have been attempting to limit their support, including AMC. The playful sketch features clips from Episode IV while Howard offers a snarky rundown of the film's story as his narrator persona from Arrested Development, trading in the dysfunctional Bluth family for the Skywalker clan and their equally complicated dynamics. A pitch-perfect mashup of both franchises, the video includes a few fun references to running jokes from Arrested Development, giving fans one more lesson on the importance of always leaving a note. Check out the clip below! In addition to narrator duties, Ron Howard also serves as the director of Solo: A Star Wars Story which is set to hit theaters on May 25. Additional cast members include Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca, Emilia Clarke, Thandie Newton, Woody Harrelson, and Paul Bettany. Meanwhile, a fifth season of Arrested Development is expected to arrive on Netflix very soon. Likewise, a remixed version of the show's fourth season will premiere through the streaming service on May 4.
