Films starring Tom Cruise, Megan Fox, and more are all in the works for 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray.
In an early announcement to retailers, several new discs are being prepped for 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray throughout June and July from Universal, Paramount, Sony, and Shout Factory.
Here's a full rundown of all the recently added listings:
Following the previous release of a 3-film boxset, Universal has now announced plans to offer standalone 4K Ultra HD Blu-rays for James DeMonaco's The Purge, The Purge: Anarchy, and The Purge: Election Year on June 12. All three films will feature 2160p video with HDR10 and a DTS:X soundtrack. Supplements will include:

Paramount is bringing Christopher McQuarrie's Jack Reacher starring Tom Cruise, Rosamund Pike, and Richard Jenkins to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray on June 26. Full specs have not been announced yet, but supplements are expected to mirror those found on the previous Blu-ray release.
In addition, the studio is prepping Jonathan Liebesman's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles starring Megan Fox, Will Arnett, and William Fichtner for 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray on July 17. Full specs have not been announced yet, but supplements are expected to mirror those found on the previous Blu-ray release.
Sony has announced plans to expand its 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release of Harold Ramis' Groundhog Day starring Bill Murray, Andie MacDowell, and Chris Elliott to all retailers on June 26. The title was previously a Best Buy exclusive. The disc features 2160p video with HDR10 and a Dolby Atmos soundtrack. Supplements include:

Finally, Shout Factory is bringing Greg MacGillivray's IMAX: Dream Big: Engineering Our World narrated by Jeff Bridges and IMAX: National Parks Adventure narrated by Robert Redford to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray on July 24. Full specs and supplements have not been announced yet, but both releases will include Ultra HD, Blu-ray 3D, and Blu-ray discs.
