'The American President' and 'Dave' Dated for Blu-ray[teaser]Two 1990s presidential comedies will be running for Blu-ray in September. [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, Warner Brothers has revealed 'The American President' and 'Dave' are coming to Blu-ray on September 25. 'The American President' - Director Rob Reiner ('When Harry Met Sally') and screenwriter Aaron Sorkin ('The Social Network') have crafted this romantic comedy about the relationship that blooms between environmental lobbyist Sydney Ellen Wade (Annette Bening, 'American Beauty') and Andrew Shepherd (Michael Douglas, 'Wall Street'), the President of the United States. Smitten with one another, Wade and Shepherd want to pursue something deeper, much to the chagrin of the President's loyal Chief of Staff (Martin Sheen, 'Apocalypse Now'), but the two lovers find their connection strained by both global political issues and the machinations of the presumptive Republican Presidential nominee (Richard Dreyfuss, 'Jaws'). Denon and Marantz Intro Multizone Video to Receivers[teaser]An HDMI output will send video and audio to another zone in the house, presumably offering all the benefits that come with the main output. [/teaser] Forget about multizone audio, Denon and Marantz receivers are getting something new – something even cooler. The newest receivers from both companies give you a second HDMI output, which offers the ability to run multizone video. Both receivers offer 4K upscaling as well as the kinds of audio features you'd expect from Denon and Marantz. With zone audio, you have to give a few things up, since the outputs are usually just stereo, but we're guessing that the upscaling, seven channel output and audio features carry over to the second channel. You'll be able to find this feature in the Denon In-Command line as well as the Marantz SR series. Source: Electronic HousePosted Thu May 31, 2012 at 07:00 AM PDT by:
