'A Haunted House' Dated for Blu-ray[teaser]Another horror movie spoof will haunt Blu-ray in April. [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, Universal will be releasing 'A Haunted House' on Blu-ray on April 23. When overactive man-child Malcolm (Marlon Wayans) takes the plunge and lets girlfriend Keisha (Essence Atkins) move into his house, he quickly senses they're no longer alone. Videotaping a series of paranormal events, Malcolm is shocked to discover the love of his life carries more than your average relationship baggage: she's possessed by an evil spirit. Malcolm enlists the help of priest/ex-convict Father Williams (Cedric the Entertainer) to exorcise the demon from his girlfriend before it ruins his relationship... and his sex life. Once in a great while a movie comes along that truly grips and uplifts its audiences. Such a movie is An Officer And A Gentleman, a timeless tale of romance, friendship and growth. Loner Zack Mayo (Richard Gere) enters Officer Candidate School to become a Navy pilot and in thirteen tortuous weeks he learns the importance of discipline, love and friendship. Louis Gossett, Jr. won an Academy Award* for his brilliant portrayal of the tough drill instructor who teaches Zack that no man can make it alone. And while Gossett tries to warn the young officer about the local girls who will do anything to catch themselves pilot husbands, Zack eventually learns to love one (Debra Winger) while his fellow candidate, a memorable character portrayed by David Keith, struggles with a very different fate. Samsung Announces TV Discovery to Help Users Find Content[teaser]You'll be able to search across live TV, online content and on-demand programming[/teaser]. When it comes to entertainment, we're living in a fantastic time. There's more content available than we could ever hope to watch, which is unquestionably a good thing. That's a problem though, when it comes to actually sorting through all the noise and finding something you actually want to watch. Samsung's solution is called TV Discovery, and it allows you to search through live TV listings, on-demand programming, and online services. The last option is a bit fuzzy at the moment, as only YouTube is listed, but we'd love to see Netflix and Amazon show up on the list.
