'Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes' Gets a Release Date

Still looking forward to that raccoon.

Shortly after announcing the Guardians of the Galaxy play set, Disney has confirmed the fall release date for 'Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes.' It invades children's dreams on Sept. 23 through the Wii U, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, PC and iOS.

So far, three new play sets have been announced for the 'Disney Infinty' sequel. The Avengers, Spider-Man and, as mentioned, Guardians of the Galaxy play sets all feature iconic characters, recreated in-game and as tiny NFC figurines.
