Blizzard games have a long history of bad console ports. The PlayStation version of 'Diablo' was pretty shabby and 'StarCraft 64' was an absolute wreck. This time, they're making sure it's done right.
At the BlizzCon Q&A for 'Diablo III,' game director Jay Wilson confirmed that there is a team working on a console version but that there are plenty of challenges along the way. "Targeting is the issue," says Wilson.
He's high on the idea though, and says that movement actually feels smooth on a controller, which is good to hear. He didn't reveal what consoles the game is being developed for, but it's safe to assume we're going to be seeing it on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 if it comes out.
