'Cyborg,' 'Death Warrant,' and 'Double Impact' Announced for Blu-ray[teaser]Three Jean-Claude Van Damme favorites are planned for Blu-ray this October! [/teaser] According to the Wal-Mart website, 20th Century Fox will be releasing 'Cyborg,' 'Death Warrant,' and 'Double Impact' on Blu-ray on October 2. Martial arts wizard Jean-Claude Van Damme carves out a dazzling new domain as the future's most fearsome warrior in this adrenaline-charged sword and sci-fi thriller. Filled with non-stop action, 'Cyborg' is a wild ride from start to finish - a post-apocalyptic battle against the ultimate evil. Deteriorating from social anarchy and a deadly plague, 21st Century America has descended into a seething, barbaric nightmare. Only Pearl Prophet (Dayle Haddon), a beautiful half-human/half-robot, has the knowledge necessary to develop a vaccine. But during her desperate quest to gather data and bring a cure to the world, Pearl is captured by cannibalistic Flesh Pirates who plot to keep the antidote for themselves... and rule the globe! Now, only the awesome fighting skills of saber-wielding hero Gibson Rickenbacker (Van Damme) can rescue her - and save what remains of civilization. Jean-Claude Van Damme faces his biggest challenge yet: a maximum-security prison! The international superstar spin-kicks his way through this action-adventure powerhouse that explodes with death-defying stunts and nonstop martial-arts wizardry. Filled with the same power, intensity and skill of itsunstoppable hero, 'Death Warrant' is your ticket to a Van Damme good time! Van Damme is Officer Louis Burke, a roguish police detective who goes undercover to investigate a series of inmate murders at Harrison Penitentiary. Posing as a prisoner, Burke encounters brutal inmates, corrupt guards, death and betrayal at every turn. But when he unearths the shocking secret behind the penitentiary's inner workings, Burke must attempt a daring escape that pits him against not only hundreds of murderous inmates... but also a deadly enemy from his own past. What could be better than Jean-Claude Van Damme in an explosively entertaining action extravaganza? Two of him! In 'Double Impact' there's twice the excitement, twice the mayhem and twice the fun in this turbo-charged adventure that pushes the thrills into overdrive. Van Damme leaps into the dual roles of Chad and Alex Wagner, twin brothers who were separated after their parents' brutal murder. Years later, the two couldn't be more different: Chad is a slick Beverly Hills fitness instructor while Alex is a rough-and-tumble smuggler on the gritty streets of Hong Kong. But when fate throws them together again, Chad and Alex discover that there's one thing they have in common: they're both fighting machines! Determined to enact revenge on their parents' killers, the martial-arts experts kick, chop and shoot all the way to an electrifying final showdown aboard a gargantuan freighter in Hong Kong Harbor. Specs and supplements haven't been detailed yet, but suggested list price for each Blu-ray is $16.99.
