This November both the original 1946 film and the 1981 remake will arrive on Blu-ray.
In an early announcement to retailers, Warner Brothers will be releasing 'The Postman Always Rings Twice (1946)' and 'The Postman Always Rings Twice (1981)' on Blu-ray on November 13.
Both crime dramas tell the story of a married woman and a drifter who have an affair and then plot to murder her husband. Tay Garnett's 1946 classic features Lana Turner and John Garfield, while Jack Nicholson and Jessica Lange star in Bob Rafelson's 1981 adaptation of the James M Cain novel.
Specs and supplements haven't been revealed yet, and the suggested list price for each Blu-ray will be $19.98.
