Now with eight minutes of new and extended scenes added back into the film by Director Bill Condon, along with his optional audio commentary, fans can delve deeper into the epic series they adore. Experience the timeless romance and drama in a whole new way when 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 Extended Edition,' featuring the original theatrical version and the all-new extended edition with optional audio commentary from the director arrives on Blu-ray. “As Twilight series devotees know, there was a lot of ground to cover in adapting Breaking Dawn to the screen,” said Condon. “Between the wedding, the honeymoon, the birth, and everything in between, naturally there were things that didn’t make it into our final cut. Blu-ray Takes 'Flight' in February[teaser]Robert Zemeckis' acclaimed film will be boarding Blu-ray this February. Vizio's 2013 Lineup Includes UHDTV Sets at 55, 65 and 70 Inches[teaser]Westinghouse isn't the only entry-level TV maker that's bringing 4K this year. [/teaser] Vizio has come a long way since they first started, and while we're still not going to put them up there with the likes of Samsung and Panasonic, they make a damn fine set for the money. Vizio has earned a spot as the best of the budget brands and they'll be bringing a UHDTV of their own this year. The new sets will come in 55, 65 and 70 inch versions and all utilize Razor LED lighting. While the company has named prices on everything else it has coming out, including a $4,499 80 inch Smart TV, pricing on the UHDs is unavailable. 'Rolling Thunder' Dated for Blu-ray[teaser]The classic 1977 thriller will be rolling onto Blu-ray this April. [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, Shout Factory is preparing 'Rolling Thunder' for Blu-ray on April 9. A revered revenge classic co-written by Paul Schrader (Taxi Driver) and starring William Devane in a stoic performance as Major Charles Rane, a man who has been pushed beyond his limits during an eight year incarceration in the Hanoi Hilton. He returns to his Texas hometown with his friend Sergeant Vohden (Tommy Lee Jones), just a vague shadow of the man he used to be. Finding himself a local celebrity and awarded with a briefcase of silver dollars- one for every day he was a POW, he tries to adapt to civilian life with his wife (Linda Haynes), who is now engaged to another man, and his son, who doesn't remember him. But any chance at healing is destroyed when a gang of thugs show up at his house to steal the silver. Tragedy thus descends on Major Rane a second time, stealing whatever shred of humanity was in him, and sending him on a one-way mission: vengeance at any cost. Project Shield: Nvidia Introduces a Tegra-Powered, Android-Operated Gaming Platform at CES[teaser]Features include a dual analogue stick controller, clamshell form factor, 5" 720p multitouch display, 4K video thru HDMI out, and WiFi PC game streaming. [/teaser] Stopping short of a price point, Nvidia's Tegra 4 powered Project Shield mobile game platform is nothing short of ambitious. According to details from The Verge, the device utilizes a pure version of the Android OS, which instantly makes available both Google Play and Nvidia's Tegra Zone for software. Furthermore, PCs equipped with Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 series and higher cards will be able to stream games over WiFi to the device, opening up the entire Steam library for Project Shield. A micro SD slot resides next to the HDMI port on the front of the device, but Nvidia has already revealed a future capability aim for the device, wireless streaming to TVs.
