'The Last of Us Remastered' Photo Mode Detailed in Latest Footage

Terribly beautiful.

Sometimes, the test of a truly beautiful game is whether its developer lets you stop the action and see every little detail, then take a picture. 'Mario Kart 8' and 'Pikmin 3' both did it. Now, what is likely to be one of the most gorgeous games ever created, 'The Last of Us Remastered' is doing it. And oh boy, look at that flamethrower.

The best thing about Photo Mode might be its convenience. Once you toggle it on in the menu, just clicking the left stick will freeze the action and let you manipulate the camera to your exact likings. From there it's all about the filters.

Photo Mode is being added to the game via a day one patch. 'The Last of Us Remastered' and its photo mode are out on July 29 exclusively to the PS4.
