It's hard to beat free.
When I reviewed the PlayStation VR Launch Bundle (see here), I noted how one of the PS VR's best features at launch was the plethora of free (and fun) software available to try and keep. (It almost reminds me of unboxing my Xbox 360 back in the day) But little did I know that come November 4th, the 'Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare – Jackal Assault VR Experience' would join the ranks of free PS VR software.
I got a nice kick of 'Jackal Assault' back in September. (Impressions here.) And now, I couldn't be more pleased that all PS VR users (and not just 'Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare' players) will get to 'Jackal Assault' for free.
Oh course, it could be pointed out that this first ever 'Call of Duty' VR experience being free is really just a ploy to get people to try PS VR, and to give players a taste of 'Infinite Warfare's prominent Jackal gameplay. But for PS VR owners, this is a can't-miss.
From Activision, here's how to get 'Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare – Jackal Assault VR Experience'
Just head to the PlayStation VR section of the PlayStation Store, and after selecting Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare – Jackal Assault VR Experience, follow the prompts to download and install. Please note that you will need PlayStation VR, sold separately, to play.
You can find the latest info on 'Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare' linked from our Video Game Release Schedule.
