Some series never die.
Released all of twelve years ago, 'Final Fantasy XI,' the long-running series' first MMO installment, is celebrating its anniversary with a collection of updates to the Xbox 360 and PC versions. While a couple of new Seekers of Adoulin missions headline the update, other areas of the game won't go unnoticed.
The Mog Wardrobe, enabling greater storage out on the go, new battlefields with higher difficulty conquests and a pair of new alter egos as your fighting companions should enliven the aged MMORPG.
'Final fantasy XI' is, according to an interview with former Square Enix CEO Yoichi Wada in 2012, uncovered by IGN, the most successful game in the series, later installments failing to live up to the legacy.
