Looks like the sizable changes.
The recent 'Nioh' PS4 Alpha was well worth an in-depth visit (see here) and according to the publisher and developer, over 850,000 players downloaded the alpha during the 10 day period. Now, with so much alpha-based feedback gathered, Team Ninja has a set of important changes to incorporate in the game. Naturally, a more obvious tutorial tops the list, but this list is quite comprehensive. It includes stamina/stagger changes, a new control type, boss area hints, level shortcuts, enemy pursuit and more.
And not to be a downer, but it does sounds like lots of surveyed players asked for the game and its systems to be easier and to be more like a certain established franchise.
But then again, it's worth waiting for further hands-on time. Koei Tecmo has promised more info on the game (like a release date) soon.
