Changes are already being made.
The 'Battlefield' name, once a beacon of player respect, now tarnished in the ravenous wake of a horribly bugged 'Battlefield 4' release, needs rebuilding. EA is hoping that starts with 'Battlefield Hardline,' and not a week after the game's first beta came to a close, the development team is responding in action to a multitude of player complaints.
"Even though the beta was just a small taste of the complete package we plan to deliver with 'Hardline,' the amount of feedback we got from players around the world has been incredible and will help ensure we make 'Hardline' a better game when it launches this October," reads the post.
The changes currently being made to 'Battlefield Hardline,' which is due out on Oct. 21, effect many elements to the cops and criminals title. Most importantly, basic player movement has been increased by 10 percent already, with players earning another 10 percent boost if they weild a light pistol instead of a primary weapon. The "sluggish" feeling, as they put it, is gone.
Supression, the effect bullets have on the player's display as they wiz by his/her head, has long been a controversial mechanic since introduced, and it looks like the team is winding it down yet again, just as they did in the transition from 'Battlefield 3' to 'Battlefield 4.' Whereas before in 'Hardline' suppression would effect a player's aim, now it only effects that player's "situational awareness." In other words, things will get blurry but your gun will aim true.

Though the game is out in just a few months, another beta, set for every release platform (Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and PC), is scheduled for sometime in the fall.
