Character progression and RPG elements are brand new to the series, because why not?
Ubisoft, always looking for some new icing for old cake, is throwing in some deeper player customization in this year's current-gen 'Assassin's Creed: Unity.' The latest gameplay video explains as much, detailing progression paths focused on stealth, melee, range and other quirks. There's also a fair bit of explaining on how co-op works, and how different roles are meant to complement each other when the swords go swinging, as they do in French Revolution times.
It's due out for Xbox One, PS4 and PC on Nov. 11.
