Original game passes seven million sold.
During a presentation for 'The Last of Us: Remastered,' Naughty Dog revealed a few new details about the upcoming title, including plans for another multiplayer map pack as DLC later this year. It will be available as a cross-buy on both versions of the game.
Naughty Dog hasn't spoken of new DLC for the original title since the release of 'Left Behind.' The two multiplayer packs and one single-player addition were originally meant to cap out DLC production, all of which are included in 'The Last of Us: Remastered.' It seems that's changed as the PS4 version approaches release.
Additionally, though the PS4 version, set for release on July 29, will run at 60 fps, 1080p resolution, there's also an option to lock the frame rate at 30 fps. That indicates the game won't run consistently at the higher frame rate, offering gamers with a keen eye the option to even things out.
Looking to the game's release later this month, Naughty Dog was happy to reveal 'The Last of Us' on PS3 has recently surpassed seven million sales.
