"Not Everyone Deserves Saving": First Teaser For 'Walking Dead: Michonne' Released

Three-episode series to begin in February.

Search the internet for Telltale news today, you're probably gonna find thousands of pages of collective freakouts about that Batman project they have coming down the pipe (more on that when we get into the Game Awards last night). Apparently, Telltale wasn't done yet for the week, because thhey also decided to release the first teaser for their upcoming 'Walking Dead' miniseries based on fan-favorite character Michonne.

The mini-series will actually be more of a spinoff from the comics rather than crossing over with Clementine's ongoing story from the games so far. It'll cover the period between issues #126 and #139, showing why Michonne left Rick and company for that period. Details are skimpy past that aside from the press release mentioning Michonne as being "haunted by her past and coping with unimaginable loss and regret." In other words, pretty well adjusted for 'The Walking Dead'. They also quickly drop that Samira Willey, who plays Poussey from 'Orange Is The New Black' will be voicing Michonne. You only get to hear her once, towards the end of the teaser, but there's certainly more coming fairly soon, once the series begins this February. Check out the trailer below.
