Hefty discounts on nominated titles.
The Game Awards are tonight, broadcasting more or less anywhere game related on the internet, and to celebrate, the show has teamed up with three of the major digital storefronts for two days of sales on many of the nominated titles, some of which weren't even on sale on Black Friday. Sadly, Nintendo's eShop isn't among them. Sorry, anybody hoping to get 'Splatoon' on the cheap..
Anyway, some of the gems in here include 'Witcher 3' for $25, 'Life Is Strange' For $10 on consoles, 'Halo 5' for $48, and 'Destiny: The Taken King' for $40. Heads up: If you have all three platforms, you may want to shop carefully. Prices aren't uniform across the board, so you have situations where 'Batman Arkham Knight' is cheaper on Xbox One ($32.49) compared to PS4 ($37.49), and 'Elder Scrolls Online' is vice versa (Premium Edition is $40 on PS4, $48 on Xbox One). Meanwhile, weirdly enough, Steam's sale is actually the raw deal on a bunch of these, with 'Ori and the Blind Forest', 'Tales from the Borderlands', and 'Assassin's Creed Syndicate' all more expensive there. Choose wisely. The sale goes onto until December 5th.
