'Rocksmith 2014 Edition – Remastered' is a mouthful.
Ubisoft has announced that 'Rocksmith 2014 Edition,' which originally released in 2013 (and then re-released on PS4 and Xbox One in 2014), is getting remastered in 2016 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Yeah, the timeline is messier than a 'Zero Escape' game, but the good news is that the update will be free to current owners. The improved version will feature six bonus songs including Outkast's "Hey Ya!," "I Want You Back" by the Jackson 5, and Elvis Presley's "Suspicious Minds."
Changes include retooled menus, stat tracking and enhanced practice tools. "We’ve improved the 'Rocksmith' method, providing more powerful tools for players to tailor their own learning experience," said Ubisoft San Francisco's Nao Higo. "[It's] easier than ever to learn how to play.".
'Rocksmith 2014 Edition – Remastered' launches this autumn on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
