Titles now available for one month and one month only.
The Playstation Plus Instant Game Collection is seeing a bit of a shakeup in July. Any and all games offered through the service will be available for just one month, though, as before, any game you download through the service will be available to you as long as you're a Playstation Plus member. More specifically:
"Starting in July, every title in the Instant Game Collection will be available the first Tuesday of the month, and will be free for the month, until the first Tuesday of the following month, taking the guesswork out of how long the game will be available for free," according to the Playstation Blog post.
Any games currently available free through Playstation Plus will be phased out by July, including those offered in June. On the bright side, it looks like two free games per console may become the norm.
Speaking of, available in June through the PS4 Instant Game Collection are 'Trine 2: Complete Story,' the shiny sidescrolling puzzle game, and 'Pixeljunk Shooter Ultimate,' which brings together both 'Pixeljunk Shooter' PS3 releases with prettier visuals.
On the PS3, 'NBA 2K14' and 'Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time' are up for grabs. Finally, PS Vita owners can nab the explorative 'Terraria' and the jumpy 'Mutant Mudds Deluxe' until the first Tuesday in July.
