Platinum's upcoming fantasy title will be ready next year.
Platinum has announced today that their upcoming Xbox One exclusive Action RPG 'Scalebound' will not be making its previously planned 2016, and has been delayed to 2017.
The developer has stated that the delay is being used to better deliver on the ambitions they have for the title, as this is one of the "biggest games" they claim they've ever worked on, and that they'll be sharing more of the game as the year goes on.
This is likely for the best, early footage that's been shown of 'Scalebound' looks very cool, but definitely had some technical issues, and considering that Platinum is currently working on several titles at once, it makes sense that at least one would be pushed back. Couple this with the rumors that the studio may also be working on a 'TMNT' game alongside everything they already have announced, and it'd be amazing if none of them had to be delayed.
