Here's the first real gameplay of 'Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. This 16-player tournament ran for about two hours, intercut by celebrity and media rounds, and a couple of surprise Nintendo appearances. Here's the final match:

Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime stepped on to the stage after the winner arose victorious, and hinted that the success of the event might have Nintendo do more 'Super Smash Bros.' tournaments in the future.
