Spoilers: Quite a bit.
One of the common complaints about the original 'Mirror's Edge' is that it felt more like a proof of concept rather than its own, full fledged title. DICE apparently agrees with that, judging from the tone of this new dev diary released today.
In it, the developers highlight many of the new changes to the original game's formula and presentation, from the newly open world (which sounds much like the game's stellar Trials have been fully integrated into the game), to the context sensitive music (which is great, since the original game's futuristic trance-y score was a highlight). Take a gander below. We're still about two months away from the game's May 24th release date.
