The upcoming 4K receiver includes HDCP 2.2 support.
Denon has detailed its latest home audio product. The AVR-S510BT ($279) is the first in a new line of receivers with integrated Bluetooth streaming.
Serving as a successor to last year's S-Series, the AVR-S510BT is a 5.2 channel receiver with a 140W (6ohm, 1kHz, 1ch driven, THD10%) Power Amp. The device offers 4K/60Hz full-rate pass-through along with 4:4:4 Pure Color sub-sampling pass-through over three HDMI connections with HDCP 2.2. 3D support, a USB port, Auto setup with room EQ, an AM/FM Radio, and built-in Bluetooth streaming are featured as well. In addition, the receiver also lets customers control the device through a Bluetooth iOS and Android Remote App.
The AVR-S510BT is expected to start shipping in June. Two more models in the series will be announced in the near future.
