Announcing its latest "catch-up" title for Blu-ray, Universal has set a July date for the Adam Sandler-Kevin James comedy 'I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry.'
The 2007 smash took a trouncing from critics, but audiences ate up the bro-mance to the tune of over a $125 million domestic gross.
First hitting HD DVD in November 2007, Universal will debut the belated Blu-ray on July 21.
Tech specs are standard-issue Universal, with a 1080p encode (1.85:1) and a DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround track.
Extras, like the HD DVD, are minimal, including only a pair of audio commentaries (a solo track with director Denis Dugan, and a second group chat with Dugan, Sandler and James), plus an interactive "Friendship Test."
Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $29.99.
