The audio sharing platform is now streaming to Sonos speaker systems.
Sonos has announced a new partnership with SoundCloud, bringing a new selection of audio content to Sonos users. Customers can now access the SoundCloud beta through their Sonos app for iOS and Android devices.
SoundCloud lets users discover and share audio, providing a global library of music, podcasts, and more from up-and-coming artists, established musicians, and comedians. 12 hours of new content is uploaded to the service every minute, offering a constant stream of free audio selections that can now be streamed to Sonos speaker systems.
Sonos users can now download the SoundCloud beta by going to "add music services" in the Sonos controller app. Then customers can use the Universal Search feature to start discovering new music and audio content on SoundCloud. Sonos offers several home audio products, including the Sonos Play:1 ($199), Play:3 ($299), and Play:5 ($399) speakers which are all now available on Amazon.
