The crime series will return to Netflix in September.

Netflix has released a new trailer for the second season of its original series, 'Narcos.' The show stars Wagner Moura, Boyd Holbrook, and Pedro Pascal

This raw, gritty series chronicles the gripping real-life stories of the drug kingpins of the late 1980s and the corroborative efforts of law enforcement to meet them head on in brutal, bloody conflict. It details the many, often-conflicting forces - legal, political, police, military and civilian - that clash in the effort to control cocaine, one of the world's most valuable commodities. In the second season, notorious drug kingpin Pablo Escobar is on the run, with the Colombian authorities in relentless pursuit -- and determined to put an end to his illegal activities.

Check out the new preview and the previously released official trailer below!

The show is created by Chris Brancato, Carlo Bernard, and Doug Miro. Season two is set premiere on September 2 exclusively through Netflix. In addition, all ten episodes of season one are currently available to stream on Netflix.

Other upcoming Netflix premieres include 'XOXO' on August 26, 'Easy' on September 22, 'The Ranch' on October 7, 'Mascots' on October 13, 'Black Mirror' on October 21, 'The Crown' on November 4, 'Lovesick' on November 17, and 'Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life' on November 25. Likewise, the streaming platform is also prepping new seasons of 'Chelsea,' 'Lady Dynamite,' and 'Real Rob,' a new sci-fi series called 'Travelers' from writer Brad Wright, the third season of 'Bloodline' for 2017, new episodes of the documentary series 'Making a Murderer,' and a feature film adaptation of the manga 'Death Note.'

A current Netflix subscription starts at $10 for HD streaming and $12 for Ultra HD streaming.
