The company's latest promotion is targeting DirecTV subscribers.
DISH has announced a new promotion that guarantees at least $250 in savings for customers who switch to their service from DirecTV. The campaign will run through April 8.
"Consumers' purchase decisions are often closely tied to value, and our new campaign highlights DISH's undeniable advantage in price plus technology over DirecTV," said James Moorhead, senior vice president and chief marketing officer. "With DISH, customers get the same channels, shows and the sports they love, and we save them hundreds in their first year. When combined with the industry's most awarded DVR, the Hopper, choosing DISH becomes an easy decision."
To take advantage of the promotion, DirecTV customers should visit DISHChallenge.com to view a price comparison. They can then call DISH or live chat on the internet to see if they qualify for the special offer by asking a representative to take the DISH "Challenge." The offer requires a 24-month commitment with AutoPay and Paperless Billing, and a credit qualification. If the customer's first year savings turn out to be less than $250 after switching to DISH, the customer will be eligible to receive a $250 prepaid card after the new service is activated. To help spread the word about the promotion, DISH has released a series of humorous videos on their website, Facebook, and Twitter account asking consumers what they would do for $250.
