Expansion's final Raid will not be available day one.
It's like clockwork at this point: Release a 'Destiny' expansion, without fail, some crew out there will have the whole thing done before sunset. Well, Bungie's making sure those folks pump their brakes for a little while: According to an interview with IGN at PAX over the weekend, 'The Taken King' won't have its final Raid, King's Fall, available the day the expansion launches.
“Its not going to be available on day one,” expansion director Luke Smith told IGN. “We definitely have a plan for when it’s going to be available. I’m not going to announce the plan for it on the YouTube Gaming stage. But I promise for people who are excited about the raid will know when it's time to take time off work. We’ll give em’ a heads up."
Makes sense for an expansion they've already stated is bigger than any of the big Raids previous. the 24 hour folks are just gonna have to occupy their time otherwise till then. Keep an eye out for the official announcement.
