Both Bleszinski and console higher-ups seem on board.
'Gears of War' designer Cliff Bleszinski's latest project, the free-to-play arena shooter 'LawBreakers,' is now out in the open, with early gameplay footage and everything. Though the game is currently set only for a PC release, it's looking like a console release is well within the realm of possibility.
A huge endorsement came from Xbox boss Phil Spencer, who congratulated Bleszinski over Twitter when the first game footage came out and said that the Xbox alum would be welcome for another round on Microsoft's consoles.

Bleszinski then tweeted that Sony was checking out the game as well.
SONY IS IN THE HOUSE RIGHT NOW

Of course, Bleszinski himself seems fine with the idea of a console release too, telling Game Informer at PAX that, "Maybe someday the game will come to consoles."
All the pieces for a multiplatform release seem there. If LawBreakers makes a big enough splash on PC (or if the game builds up enough pre-release buzz), it probably wouldn't take much convinving to get the game out to the console crowd.
