No need to change the channel to enjoy HBO content on demand - you'll be able to watch it right on your Xbox.
April 1st just seems like a bad day to launch anything, especially if it's something of great interest to the internet, since companies, websites and bloggers all take it upon themselves to be the most hilarious, but hey, you try to explain this stuff to Microsoft! Still, there are going to be some folks out there that will be very happy to see a legitimate new addition to the Xbox 360 in just a few weeks.
The 1st of April marks the availability of the HBO Go app on the Xbox 360 as confirmed by HBO president Eric Kessler. One thing that needs to be addressed before that launch date is whether HBO Go for the Xbox will get the same treatment as it did for Samsung TVs. More specifically, we have yet to find out whether Comcast and Time Warner will end up blocking access to the app for their subscribers.
