Netflix Teases Marvel's 'The Defenders,' Streaming Premiere Set for August 18[teaser]The superhero team-up series will hit Netflix in August.[/teaser] Netflix has released a new viral teaser for its upcoming miniseries, The Defenders. Featuring security cam footage of the show's four stars in an elevator, the clip ends on the time stamp 08:18:20:17, revealing the series' August 18 premiere date. The Defenders will feature a crossover team-up between Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist as they face their biggest threat yet. Douglas Petrie (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Marco Ramirez (Orange is the New Black) are on board as showrunners. In addition, Petrie, Ramirez, Drew Goddard (The Martian, Lost, Alias), and Jeph Loeb will all serve as Executive Producers for the mini-series. The show is being produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios for Netflix. Check out the teaser below! The SVOD service is now the exclusive US streaming home to nearly all of the surviving 1963 - 1989 Doctor Who episodes. The new season will focus on the LA Rams' entire 2016 season, beginning with the team's relocation back to Los Angeles and ending with the hiring of a new head coach and preparations for the 2017 season. "All or Nothing brings Amazon Prime members a deep dive into the lives of professional athletes," said Conrad Riggs, Head of Unscripted, Amazon Originals.
