Fox prepares a 3-disc edition for 'Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li' for June.[/teaser] The Blu-ray disc will be available on June 30 and will feature 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video, DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1. There's no word on extras as of yet, but the release will be 3-disc BD/DVD combo. Suggested list price for the Blu-ray has been set at $39.99. Sony CX7000ES 400-disc Blu-ray changer coming soon[teaser]Looks like Sony is almost ready to roll out some new Blu-ray changers![/teaser] The Sony 200- and 400-disc Blu-Ray changers will likely be hitting markets soon. They were unveiled at CEDIA, but no official date was announced. The Sony BDP-CX960 will hold 200 discs and the BDP-CX7000ES will hold 400. When the players are finally released, they will likely have BD-Live capabilities and possibly hard drives, and will both be HDNA compliant. Walmart Emphasizing 1080p and Blu-ray in Technology Focus Shift[teaser]Walmart will be revamping 3,500 stores across the country in an effort to upgrade their electronics department. There have been hints that both Walmart and Best Buy will improve their specialty electronics offerings in order to ride to wave of Blu-Ray, 1080p, and flat panel TV technology.[/teaser] Walmart has announced the following upgrades: color-defined signs for new departments, such as wireless and games; prominent display areas showcasing upcoming technology in video display and games; a greater selection of Blu-Ray discs and players; more sizes and options for 1080p & 120Hz HDTVs; a dedicated high-def “sound and site” section; 30 percent more wireless products; and an interactive display center for laptops. Universal Delays 'Inside Man' Blu-ray a Week[teaser]The inside scoop is that an audio glitch has forced Universal Studios to push back the Blu-ray release.[/teaser] Originally slated to hit stores on May 26, Spike Lee's 'Inside Man' starring Denzel Washington, Jodie Foster, and Clive Owen will instead find its way to Blu-ray on June 2 -- a week behind schedule. The cause is a glitch with one of the surround channels not functioning during the last half hour of the film.
