A cold look into the 'The Song of Ice and Fire.'
Check TV, print, and the internet, and really, 'Game of Thrones' ('Song of Fire and Ice') continues to be a cultural phenomenon. The one area that has lagged behind has been video games. That changes now. Telltale Games, the celebrated developer behind 'The Walking Dead', is bring the property to consoles and multiple other platforms in a way never done before. The six episode season has players in the role of multiple family members and servants in the employ of House Forrester, a Stark loyal house attempting to navigate the War of the Five Kings. With the first episode, 'Game of Thrones: A Telltale Series - Iron From Ice', fans will get to see if Telltale's House Forrester is worthy of becoming canon, which it will be anyway.
The PS3 version is due out next week while a version for Android is due later this month.
While there have been a few different games to bring racing to massive online audience, this year there a number of even more ambitious racing titles, and none more so than Ubisoft's 'The Crew.' But just what is it that is envisioned for the game? Racing? Check. Car collecting and customization? Check. An unbelievably massive world map to race in? Check. But there is one other feature that is really the game's essence, a social racing world.
'Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker' is all about delivering on one of the special parts of last year's hit 'Super Mario 3D World.' (check out our 'Captain Toad' preview here). The diminutive Toad not only has his own game (co-starred with his better half), but also his own ad campaign.
Observe his new ad, which introduces him and his plucky nature, only to explain that he really does need your help.
Square Enix is bringing 'Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 HD ReMIX', the direct follow-up to 'Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX' to the PS3 in a fancy PS2 to HD form.
Naturally, what's being showcased here is a world the is co-inhabited with classic Disney characters and various icons from the 'Final Fantasy' series.
