Tidal Force has announced two new products for the AV market. The lineup includes premium certified HDMI cables and High-Fidelity Planar Magnetic Headphones.
The HDMI cables have been tested to ensure support for the full 18Gbps bandwidth from the HDMI 2.0b specification. Likewise, the cables carry the Premium HDMI Cable Certification Label, designating reliable performance for 4k Ultra HD signals up to 2160p @ 50/60 Hz and advanced features such as higher frame rates, cinema wide 21:9 aspect ratio, HDR, expanded color spaces including BT.2020 colorimetry, 4:4:4 chroma sampling, CEC extensions, up to 32 channels of audio and 1536 kHz audio sampling frequency. - 24K Gold-plated connectors & higher thickness of gold-plated contact pins create precise contact for low signal loss.
- Tidal Force Super Shield-Assembly of the metal top and bottom shield act as a highly effective EMI shield from wireless sources and offers excellent structural integrity.
- High Quality Cable-Twisted-pair construction reduces cross talk with impendence matched. Triple-layer shielding provides superior isolation. (Protective PVC Jacket, Copper Braid Shield, 95% Aluminized Mylar foil.)

Beyond cables, the company is also launching its new Wave 5 open-backed headphones with planar magnetic drivers. The magnetic drivers are like a crossbreed between dynamic diaphragms and electrostatic drivers, offering high-end sound.
